an IRL and URL space
for creative community

So what exactly is all this?

sone is a loosely organized collection of passionate artists, developers, designers, project organizers, and others working to make our vision a reality in the free moments between our day jobs.

We love to create open-source tooling, services, projects, and systems using established best practices while still leaving open the possibility of creative exploration into new spaces.

If we've struck a chord with you and you'd like to contribute your labor in any way, shape, or form: please consider applying.

What is a contributor?

A contributor is essentially our definition of a worker. We use this word as a way to classify and log a person's contributions of labor to our projects and organize how we provide them resources.

Why do I have to apply?

While we do offer the ability to contribute casually to our open projects, we do require folk who would like to be more involved to apply so we can get to know them better, register them in our automation processes, and provision the items they would need to contribute more effectively.

Registered and approved contributors also have the ability to contribute to our projects in development that are yet to be openly released.

What are the responsibilities?

The main ask we have for our contributors is to keep their issue statuses up to date in our work tracking.

Our project's usually operate on a two week sprint cadence with a mid-sprint check-in. Typically, this looks like meeting in the appropriate Discord channel for 10 - 15 minutes while we discuss main statuses and blockers.

Attendance of check-in meetings are not required, but we do ask that you update your assigned issues statuses before the check-in.
